Our Fleet at Tivat Airport

Seven rental cars to collect at TIV — from a compact Clio through to a family-size Peugeot 308 diesel.

Everything on this page is waiting for you a short walk from the TIV terminal. The seven cars we actually rent from Tivat Airport were chosen around what arriving travellers ask for most — something easy to park in Kotor Old Town, something that swallows a family's cases and reaches Durmitor without strain, and something comfortable for the short hop to Porto Montenegro or the longer run across the Croatian border to Dubrovnik. No brochure halo models; just the real small-airport inventory.

Tivat collects most of its traffic in a six-hour afternoon window in summer, and the car-park handover reflects that: keys and contract at the desk, walk thirty seconds to the space, load the cases, and you are on the ring road before the next arrivals bus pulls in. Choose sensibly and the drive that follows is easy — the Vrmac tunnel to Kotor takes twenty minutes, the Tivat-Budva tunnel a little less, and the Kamenari ferry to Herceg Novi leaves every quarter-hour. Oversize the car for TIV and you will notice it immediately in the town car parks.

Two rules we repeat to customers at the pickup desk: first, pick for the furthest point on your itinerary rather than the first — a Clio is fine in Tivat town but you will wish you had picked the 308 by the time you reach Žabljak. Second, price the AC in with July and August collections; a rental that has been sitting in the TIV car park since morning arrives at 45°C inside, and a climate system that cools fast matters more than 20 hp of extra engine. All seven cars below handle both tests; the choice between them is about boot, body style and fuel policy.
