Young Driver Rentals at TIV
Montenegro allows drivers aged 21+ to rent most vehicle categories. Some economy cars are available from age 19. Premium and luxury vehicles typically require age 25+.
There's usually a young driver surcharge if you're under 25 — typically €5–€15 per day. This is charged by the rental company at pickup, not during online booking.
Minimum Age by Category
- Economy (Fiat 500, VW Polo) — 19+ with 1 year licence
- Mid-Size (Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla) — 21+ with 2 years licence
- SUV (Jeep Renegade) — 23+ with 2 years licence
- Premium (Mercedes C-Class, BMW X3) — 25+ with 3 years licence
